Staff Spotlight: Aparna Dhoraje

Celebrating 15 years of loyalty to Next Doors Solutions

We are proud to be the recipient of dedication and hard work represented in the efforts of Aparna Dhoraje, Manager of Support Services, MA Counseling Psychology.

Aparna joined NDS in 2000 as the Shelter Coordinator, leaving in 2002. She rejoined the agency in 2008 as the Support Group Coordinator and was promoted to the Manager of Support Services in 2018. Her experience includes four additional years working with and providing services to domestic violence populations elsewhere, and two years providing counseling services to youth.  As the Manager of Support Services, Aparna supervises our long-term case management team; both permanent housing sites (HomeSafe); our Support Group programs; LGBTQ program; teen groups; Kids Club; therapy program; and the Families for Peace program. Aparna is fluent in South Asian languages.
